Garlic Butter Salmon

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Salmon Fillets

  • S&P

  • 2 tb olive oil

  • 2 tb butter

  • 1 shallot, diced

  • 4 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 oz cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

  • 4 cups of spinach

  • parsley for garnish

Preparation

  1. Season salmon fillets with s&p

  2. Heat oil in a pan, once hot add fillets and cook for 3 min per side or according to your preference

  3. Remove from skillet

  4. Add butter, shallot, and garlic to pan and cook for 2 min.

  5. Add red pepper flakes, heavy cream, cream cheese, salt & pepper. Bring to a simmer and stir constantly, ensuring uniform consistency.

  6. Add parm and spinach and cook until spinach is wilted ~4 minutes

  7. Add salmon back to pan

  8. Enjoy over pasta or mashed potatoes!
