Steak Frites

About the Recipe


  • 2 Tb Olive Oil

  • 2 Steaks, 4-6 oz

  • 2 Tb Butter

  • 4 cloves of garlic, whole

  • S&P

  • Handsome cut fries

  • 1/3 cup of grated parm

  • 1 tsp black garlic

  • 4 cloves of garlic, grated

  • 1 tsp truffle seasoning


  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper

  2. Add oil to pan and once shimmering, add steaks

  3. Don't touch for 3-4 min, depending on how cooked through you like your meat

  4. Flip steaks, they should have a nice crust

  5. Add butter and garlic and baste

  6. Leave for another 2 min and then remove and let rest.

  7. Airfry fries for about 10 min, shaking basket half way through.

  8. In a separate bowl, add minced garlic, salt, black garlic, parm, truffle seasoning, some olive oil, and some liquid from the pan you cooked your steaks on. Adjust to taste.

  9. Add fries to bowl and give them a good toss.

  10. Plate your steak and fries, adding more parm on the fries.

  11. Enjoy!
